1st 18-hole round coming off of neck cancer surgery. A little rusty, but the course is good therapy. New grips, Winn Dri-Tacs, midsize felt wonderful!

Learned something about putting today. At impact, my eye would trick me into taking another line to the hole instead of the line I originally had. When I noticed this, I forced myself to putt on the line I had set up before addressing the ball. It was like an optical illusion. I putted much better trusting my orginal line instead of the trick my eyes were playing. Use the force Luke!!

Course is still in Winter shape. It should be coming out of dormancy in the next few weeks. Finally, no snow in the big city of Denver.
