Good Round

Wish the back 9 had been more like the front 9. Great course. I'll do a quick review under the course listing.
An interesting look back at the round for me is how an event completely unrelated to the course or my skills can affect a round. On hole 7, the threesome behind our foursome was so impatient they hit into us as we were leaving the green. One of their balls hit the cart path right of the green and bounced up and hit my wife on her wrist. When I tried to confront them about it as they approached, all 3 were completely mute and didn't even bother to acknowledge our existence. I let it go rather than make a scene, but it really bugged me the rest of the round. Particularly since there were a lot of "blind" shots on holes where I kept looking over my shoulder wondering if they would hit into us again. (They did, but they were not near misses). The back 9 went to pieces. Oh well, lesson learned I guess, next time I'll confront the offending party with a 4 iron in hand ready to swing if the assholes don't at least apologize. <sigh>
