11/22/2010 4:20:22 AM Tough round by your standards, Frank, but at least most of the bad shots are out of your system. Next time out will probably be a record-setting performance for you! |

11/21/2010 6:28:42 PM Bites having to play with a threesome as a single. Also bites when you have 39 putts. 9 less and it would have been 89. |

11/21/2010 6:22:55 PM Oh the horror. I couldn't do anything to start the round. When I started to hit the ball a little better my putting got iced cold (along with the rest of my short game.) Fairways were cut tight (like a crewcut) so the ball sat down really close to the turf. Made wedge play around the greens impossible. Played with a guy who lost about 2 dozen balls so I spent part of the day helping him search. The only good note was that I found my driver by the end of the day. I think this is quits for me this year unless I get a chance to team up with a friend from work. Almost got out as a single playing the back nine first (which is what I would have preferred to do) but at the last second the starter found a threesome for me to join. |
