Given the fairway and putting troubles, you did a splendid job of scrambling to break 100, so you were doing something right! :-)

As for the other issues, we've ALL been there. 42 putts in a round? I've gone that high or higher 5 times in my life, so I can feel your pain. Boy, can I feel your pain! LOL

Know this, Frank, it WILL get better! What's the old saying? "It is always darkest just before the dawn."

Incredible round. Could not find the fairway and with this being a links style course I found myself punching out from a huge collection of pine trees all day long. My putting? Well I don't even have to tell you how that went. I may have broken a record for most putts in a round. It was horrible. All this after I had my best day of driving just three days ago. What a difference a day makes and what a difference a course makes. It was totally disappointing.
