This score leads me to believe I can definitely win that US Open Challenge. Southern Hills is a championship golf course and host to pro events. They tend to pick folks with vanity handicaps and they always lose.

I havent played this course in a long time and I must tell you I played okay. The course itself is in immaculate condition. The temperature was 104 actual, no heat index which was probably ungodly higher. I was amazed at how well the ball reacted on the greens. They were like Velcro. I hit some really nice iron shots and some even better wedges but it was my tee shots that caused the explosive scoring. Some new swing thoughts and a longer backswing had me crushing the driver. My really bad shots were shanks, which is a new development in the past week or so. I mean I can't ever remember shanking the ball more than once in a month let alone four times in a round. Oh well a good time was what I had despite the heat and a l l o f t h e o b.
