A few things actually...as any 12 would...to begin, our group was trailing a 4some that were on their 2nd round of 18 for the day, playin a scramble format vs no-one but themselves and their play was NOTHING to write home about. The cart girl served them (2) 12 packs on 5th and we had to wait 10 minutes before teeing off on 5....that jammed the course up---these guys were hammered. Onto 6, one of my playin partners sounded off from the tee with some colorful language, suggesting to speed of play, as he was still coming down from a DNF on 5.
My tee shot was ok, hooked a 5-iron off the tee into the left rough with apprx 150 still to the hole. I topped my 2nd into some fescue and lost ball, returned to previous spot, hit ball better but ended up in fescue again. Afterwards, I was unwinding and had lost focus as I was now hitting my 6th where I ended up greenside left, duffed 2 chips and putted 3 times starting on fringe.

The highest number I've ever posted and I was sober, haha....however, as you pointed, I was pleased to have finished as well as I did.

at least you ended on a good note right!!! what happened with the 12??
