Fun mountain golf course. Local knowledge would have been very helpful, as there are at least three holes on the back nine with tee shots to blind landing areas. Mountain courses are always challenging to maintain, and this one shows the Superintendent knows what he's doing. It's the third mountain course we have played in the past two days, and this one had the best and most consistent greens, although very hard to read. Rule of thumb is that everything breaks to the south-southeast. Optical illusion on some green make it look like the ball broke uphill. Crazy. Would need to play it every day for a week to get a good line on it. Don't bet with the locals on this one!
