First time playing the Links at Echo Springs. 6 total birdies made in our group (John had 3 on the front nine, but also had a 4-putt double on a par3 and a 10 on a par5).

Both birdies of mine were in pretty tight. The first a blind SW over a tree out of the rough to 3 feet, the second same SW on a par3 going downhill 120 yards, had chills in the air as I thought for sure this one was going to have a better chance of going in off the bounce/roll for an ace.

Let the thoughts come in and go out - you had this backnine wrapped up on the 14th tee box. It's ok to have these types of thoughts about what the round means - you don't have to block anything out, let it flow.
