5/26/2017 6:57:28 PM Perfect Friday for golf and ended up with my best round ever! (although differential is tied with my 88 at Cedar Hills, this 79 is ranked higher) Started out with a funny older dude Jack (when I missed a par putt he said "that was a prom putt, all lip and no hole!"), who played great overall, I think he probably beat me. Old dude foursome ahead of us was crazy slow, so we were caught by single Craig a couple holes in (he only played the front and was rocking BYU golf shirt), then we were caught by another single Aaron from Klamath Falls by hole 5. Both Jack and Craigh had one a free month of golf from Charbonneau at a golf show. Luckily the old dudes quit after nine, and that's when my game came alive. I had a stretch of par par birdie par par with four GIRs in a row, probably unprecedented for me. Finally had a bad hole, a capped triple on 17, but managed to save bogey on 18 with a LOT of water staring me down to the right. M 9; 13 (sand; Aaron knocked my birdie putt in with his putt |
