it was a day.. im pooped out! early afternoon winds kicked my rear end.. on hole 6 i hit a nice 2 iron off the tee.. i was sitting with a good lie in the middle.. 140 from center and pin was center.. i nutted a perfect baby draw 6 iron.. that dropped 15 yards short of the center of the green dead on line. dead into the wind and my six iron went 125 HARLY CLEARED THE WATER AND PLUGGED INTO THE FRONT LIP. wow! the next hole going with the wind 170 par 3 with the wind i hit a baby fade with a smooth lazy swing and it flys the green by 15 yards right over the flag.. brutal! a 3 club wind.. the wind backed down to about ten on the back 9 late afternoon but with 1 OB and 3 in the drink a half dozen half plugged mud balls .. wow... what a test ... i know i only take advantage of winter rules a few times a 9 but today i couldnt.. tourny round and all..
