Just checked the leaderboard on the Quicken Loans National. Tiger is at 7 under with 5 birdies and one bogey today through 14 completed holes of play.
So the field may not be the strongest, but is anybody predicting that Tiger will get his first win of the season this weekend? |

It could happen... Can't believe a guy that good can completely forget how to play! Maybe this is all he needs to bring it all the way back. Get close on Sunday, small a little blood in the water and go make a kill!!

I'd love to see him get the first win in a while but his weekend play has been his Achilles Heel in the past few years.

Well I'm watching Tiger blowup once again. Can't explain it!!! I hate to see him play this bad.

Watching him play Saturday you can tell there is still some issues between the ears. Well off the tee box. Missed the first 6 fairways. Then when he did finally hit the fairway on #8....he hit a 5wood way to the left. I think he is thinking way too much about shaping his shots and trying to make them look pretty instead of just going for the flag and hitting the ball straight. But what do I know I don't have 14 Majors under my belt.

Such a difference between "I'm gonna rip one down the middle and flip a wedge to 5 feet" and the current thought, which is "I really hope I can get it in the short grass". |
