It should be no surprise that Tiger is a bad bet right now. What is surprising is how bad of a bet he is. Depending on the site, he is anywhere from 30-1 to 40-1 to win the US Open. That puts him in the top 15 to 20 in the field. Prior to blowing up in the Memorial, he was as low as 14-1 and in the top 4-5. Just shows how well Vegas knows the public. If they keep the number on him low enough, it will keep the money coming in on him. However, you can also find the same odds for making the cut as you can for him to win so there may be value there. The best value may be the 14-1 he shoots another 85 or higher this week.

The lower he sinks the greater the triumph if he returns to the top again.

He'll be back, it will just take time. It's all in his head, because he has the skills. Let the Tiger haters blab all they want, that will just make it sweeter when he's back on top.

I don't think he will ever be as before. There are to many more great players to compete against. He may win some, but not like before. Rory, Jordan they want their times also. That's to name a few. There are several more.
