Do any of you use this app? I have had the free version on my phone for a while and really like the stat tracking features but have not been using it due to high battery consumption. I adjusted my phone settings today in an effort to extend battery life (screen brightness, turning off bluetooth and wifi) so hopefully this will work better. I also upgraded to premium so there will not be any ads going forward.
Are there other apps that you like to use? |

I am really enjoying the GolfLogix app. I took a look at the reviews online - seems solid. I used Golf Pad during my round yesterday and have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, having the tool to track my statistics throughout the round will be very helpful as I work on my game. The negative for me was having to pull my phone out for every single shot/putt (to have the app record the distances on the shots). On the positive side, the changes I made to my phone's power settings made a definate difference. After my 18 my battery was still half-full (see I'm an optimist). |

I used to like to use GolfLogix as well but it's been a while. I found when I was was tracking stats, my focus wasn't on playing but on how many greens I hit or putts I took. I stopped all together and my focused returned to just hitting the next shot. Now I don't even keep score. I let someone else do it and I don't look at the scorecard until the round is over. I can replay the round afterward and input any stats I want to keep.
