I followed up with them a few weeks ago and was told development was pushed back until late Aug early Sept. I've been inquiring since the old GolfCardPro stopped allowing stats to be uploaded back in June.

I inquired and got this less than encouraging response regarding the GolfCard Android App:

Dear Keith Lawrence,
We have not heard any update on the app from our developers. There is now a discussion about redoing the entire app with some additional feature, no time frame has been given to customer support.

Thank You,
GolfNet Support Team

Description: Are there any updates on the Android version of the GolfScoreCard App. I was told August, then Sept. Has any progress been made on this?

Thanks,
Keith

Well there ya go! The product doesn't work anywhere near the way it should. But why fix it?

I still use the old one which isn't supported anymore. I loved that format, not sure how much improvement was needed. I quit holding my breath back in July when they said it was coming soon....

After oob membership expired last month, shopped around, got the swing by swing app for $10 I think. So far I like it.
Still keep skydroid ready as my reliable back up for distances. I just needed an app for easy stat keeping.

Just tried out the GolfLogix app yesterday. seemed to work OK and it's free. didn't try out all the features but it looks like it's got most of the bells and whistles you might want.

A previous forum post got me to try GolfPad... Within 10 minutes of playing with it, I bought the full version for $10...great bells and whistles, especially the overlay of shot by shot onto Google maps... Check it out..

Checked that course in Boise out online. Great fly over video. Is that course as nice as it looks? Price is very good and it appears to have some challenging holes. Greens look small and pretty flat though. Might have to come over and try it out.

I really like it. Pretty easy to use. Takes some getting used to marking every shot (except putts), but worth it to relive the round. Plus, the scorecard is right on the front and it's pretty battery friendly. great customer support and Pebble watch support. You can't enter club selection from the watch, but that will be supported next year.

It's a public course so you have to deal with crowds. But it's the one I play the most. It's as hard as you make it. If you can drive straight, you're going to score well... If not, you get practice in recovery golf. It boasts one of the longest par 5s in Idaho at 600 yards from the whites. Greens could be better, but I always have a great time there, unless the morons are out in force. It would be great to have you come play if you're in the neighborhood. Idaho golf is very reasonable.
