Hey golfers. We will be adding some new features to your golfer profile and golf statistics in the next few days. I wanted to give you an opportunity to check them out before we push the updates into production.

Here is a list of some of the updates:

1: Updated charts to render on iOS.
2: Added Driving Distance to stats console
3: Updated golfer profile page to include more statistics for the last 20 rounds.
4: Also moved a copy of this view to your My Game home page.
5: Completely revamped the equipment section of the golfer profile.
6: Added a golf bag feature to allow you to track your rounds w/ a specific bag of equipment.
7: Scoring trend graphs will indicate equipment changes over your score history.
8: Ability to generate score statistics for specific bags of equipment.

Now some of the views in the alpha site are not complete and not fully tested, so browser beware. You can log in with your existing email address and password. Let us know your thoughts...

I didn't get a chance to post this before you closed the last update topic. I just wanted to say I think this new process of releasing alpha software for user testing and feedback is a HUGE positive improvement in how the site is being managed and want to thank you and the rest of the team for doing this.

Now on to see what new goodies you've got staged for testing/feedback...

Really like the added statistics on the My Game page. Looking good.

Love it. Graphs work on my iPhone now. Cool.

The stats on the profile page are great. I like the columns on the chart for rounds played, although the equipment column would be more advanced than I would need. I play one bag and one bag only. I'd prefer putts or putts/GIR in that column as the equipment would be n/a.

I will say I don't like the darker color scheme. The reds, greens, yellows, oranges, etc. were easier to see first of all, easier to separate from other scores, and more appealing to the eye.

I like these changes. I would also like to suggest using more colors in the graphs to enhance these changes.

big fan, looks good. i found that you can set the golf community as the home page, rather than the my game page. i feel like i've been missing out on some good discussion, and participation kinda fell off. well, i'm back baby!

I don't get the "golf bag" equipment thing... it's either not working or my golf bag has a hole in it..

I am not a big fan of the new golf bag feature. I liked the free form we had before. I could look up a good player and see what they used. (I always enjoyed seeing older models of clubs in play!)

I suppose this was done to make it searchable. BTW, going back a few years, we had the free form bag with the ability to search for peoples equipment by strings. Now that was cool. I would love to see that again...

If your equipment is not listed in our database, you can add your own. At the bottom of the equipment list, just select then "enter equipment manually" option.

-- If there is a brand not listed, let me know and I'll add it to the list.

Never Compromise Putters

On the free form note... I liked seeing shaft/flex/deg of loft...

Thanks for the reply.

Once you add your equipment, there are details that you can add to each club, including loft and shaft type. Never Compromise should now be listed in the brands list...

-- Just click the pencil edit icon on the equipment item.
