Anyone play on this tour?
I just registered to play in the Isle of Capri Regional in Tunica next week. I can't wait. |

I investigated the Golfweek Am after seeing your post. I am in far NW Arkansas and I see there are several Arkansas events left but my question would be do I have a chance to compete with several tournaments already having been completed. Looks like fun but most of the tourneys are in the Little Rock area(about 3 hours from me) so I would at least like a shot at playing for all the marbles if I joined.
Looks really cool though - certainly consider for next season if I don't play on it this year. |

I've thought of joining up a few times. And the regional down in tunica doesn't require you to be a tour member just have a valid index.
I registered for that and if it goes well I'll really consider joining up from the start next season. Playing Links at Cottonwoods and Tunica National could be fun to lol. |

Charles, you can still be in contention for the flight championships in the AR tour, I don't think Jerry (tour director for AR tour) has put on but 3 or 4 tourneys, and the majors count as double points. The tourney Steve mentioned in Tunica is a combined regional for Memphis, AR, & the MS tours. I started on the Mississippi tour in 2007 with just less than half the season left, and won my flight. I got to play in two majors and finished 1st and 2nd, that helped alot. Still a lot fun even if you don't think you can get the flight championship. Top ten is qualified to go to Hilton Head, which is a big time event!! Email or call Jerry Homishak and he will fill you in more. Check them out! See ya

I have a friend that plays in South Lousiana and he seems to like playing the events, I would say one every other month. But the drive for him is about an hour to two hours away on nice courses.
