Hey friends.
I wanted to post an update as to the status of where we are in our maintenance release. You guys have been awesome in helping us track down some hard to find bugs, and uncover some usability issues that we didn't anticipate. As I had mentioned before, this maintenance release was not intended to be an upgrade to the software. Rather, this release was a complete rewrite of our software to work over an entirely new database system. Over the last 6 months, we re-programmed everything that had been built in the last 5 years to make this happen. It was crazy intense. Although it was a little rocky over the last 2 weeks, the good news is that this site now works with the same database as many state golf associations (more on that later). I know there is some more work to do, but you have been extremely patient, and I wanted to say Thank you. As for the bug list, most of the critical issues have been resolved. As for the bugs that remain, I'll put another list up soon and let you guys post your feedback to that forum. If you are a member that has lost scores, we can find them too. Another forum for that list coming as well. Thanks again for your help and support. |

I noticed today that things were beginning to look a lot better. If site speed can just pick up a tad, and the photo distortions are fixed, the site will look great. Thanks guys!

Great job GR for your patience and understanding with our frustration as well, as we all know these issues are definately not to your liking either. Thanks for your help on my complaints and taking the time to correct those issues.
Keep up the great work. You have a good Golf web site here that is an enjoyment away from the golf course. JG |

Thank you! We threw a few darts your way, however you stood up to the pressure. My golf buddy says, "Pressure does two things...burst pipes or make diamonds!" I believe your pipes are in tact. Thank you and the whole team.

Thank you for the update. I can say that things are starting to look much better. One very big bug is still in the mix though. Notifications. When can't get in contact with all our members because zero notifications are going out. This makes it extremely difficult to maintain a golf club. Thank you, Don |

Hopefully e-mail notifications is near the top of the list; we are still not getting them. With our season start approaching and our club events almost set we need to make sure this info gets to all our member so they can plan the events they want to play in.

I know how fustrating writing code can be and working out the bugs. I wrote code in TurboPascal and QBasic...no joke. That's why I'm not IT or Systems Analyst like my dad. Anyway, you guys are great! |

In regard to attesting a score, we were able to either choose a Stracka Friend or enter the name and email address of someone else. Now we only have the name and email option. Is it possible to bring back the Friend option? Thanks! |

Yes please bring back the option to either pick from your friend list or supply an email address. The people I meet on here and go play I don't have their emails, etc. I can ask for it but was just a nice feature to have. Thanks! |

When will the club member lists be like it was? I used to be able to filter by new members, total scores posted or rounds played with members. Now in order to check members for compliance I have to go through each member one by one and doing this for 800 plus is a long time!! Jim NYC Are #992 |

Just went on my clubs page to view a club file....when I click on "club files" it says you must be a member of the club to view club files. I am the Chairman!!!! Please fix this ASAP....Thanks;
