Anyone play the CG15 wedges by Cleveland? I play Cleveland wedges now, need new ones though, because my grooves are pretty much gone now. Golfsmith has a pretty good sale on them. Thoughts?

No but I would do it because of what they keep saying on their commercials and the groove thing with the USGA.

I've heard good things about them. I got a CG14 for Christmas and can't wait to try it out. Fortunately we are getting the snow blast here so maybe by the end of the week I'll have a chance.

I've got a gap wedge that is a CG15 that I've had for 6 months and I really like it. Wedges are all about control. So you want a wedge that is well balanced, has a large enough sweet spot to allow for consistent distance control, and groves that grab consistently so that your roll out is predictable. I find the CG15 does well on all counts.

You can't go wrong with the feel of these wedges. I prefer it to my Vokey because it is a little lighter.

If you are going to get those, you need to buy them before Dec 31, 2010. They are taking them out of stock!!!

i play a 60 degree cg15 and it's amazing. i may replace my vokey sand wedge with a cg15 pretty soon. the grooves are amazing...lot's of spin. i had to alter my game a bit because of this wedge. i attack the pin more aggresively now because i know the ball is going to check no matter what.
