A friend and I went hunting this morning. As we were leaving the woods, we noticed something blue almost covered in leaves.
The blue turned out to be a Ping golf bag. In it was a full set of Ping Eye 2's, a Ping putter and a Taylormade R7! Strangest thing I have ever found in the woods - you would think a thief would have sold, hocked or used these clubs! All the clubs were in great shape and I was almost hoping I wouldn't find a name tag and information....too bad for me. Moral of the story...make sure you have your name and phone number on your bag...this guy did - the bag was stolen from his house and he is a really happy golfer today! |

THANKS FOR BEING AN HONEST PERSON.there's not a lot left it seems. the theif obviously didn't know what he took. but at any rate, i'm sure the man was probably estatic- unless, maybe he had a bad round or two,threw the clubs in the woods just to tell his wife they were stolen so he could get some clubs. and get rid of the bad mojo on those. nah, they were takin,nice find. Those clubs were 25 miles from his home course! |

yeah a round of golf would be a nice reward. on one end of the zpectrum someone will take something someone else has worked hard to obtain with no shame and on the other end someone realizes what the victim is going through and does the right thing. i used to work in a fine dining restaurant and i looked down and found $400 and considered how it could help me out if i kept it and how the guy who lost it wouldn't miss it as much as i would but the one on my right shoulder told me to do the right thing so i turned it in, someone claimed it and he gave me $40 for my honesty. cogolfer, hopefully you were kidding, but if not you'll understand when you are older what it's like to work for something and lose it because of someone's lack of morals, plus people get shot over dumber things. great story 72, it's nice to know some people are still capable of such things.

I'm happy you found the one who lost them. I have only one time had some thing taken from my truck and if I had found them, it would have been bad new for both of us. I hope you will be paid back for your phone call and return of the clubs. You may want to look there again soon. His wife may not be so happy you found them.
