Fly into Rhode Island on Monday
Tuesday -> Play Newport CC during US Open week at the original home to the US Open. If you get the chance google their clubhouse. Possibly the coolest clubhouse in the USA. Wednesday -> Play Maidstone designed by Willie Park and just down the road in East Hampton, NY from Shinnecock. The pro told me there is a fairly good chance a couple of the tour guys would be practicing on the course that day. Thursday -> Play Sleepy Hollow which is a CB MacDonald designed private club. Currently ranked #101 in the USA and it is said to be one of the most underrated courses in the country. Friday -> US Open at Shinnecock Not a bad week! |

I'm seeing a pattern here. Your last 5 or 6 forums have all about your good fortune and all the elite courses you're getting the chance to play. Is it your goal to make us all feel like peasants? Insignificants? Delinquents? Proletarians or plebeians?
Just want to be sure so I know what to have the printer put on our tee shirts. |

I love golf and I am playing some really cool historic courses. Golf is golf- we all swing a club to hit a little ball around. |
