I am officially on the tee sheet to play Oakmont on September 20th. This apparently is my "Year of Golf."
Upcoming venues for the Fall/Winter: Seminole Eastlake Peachtree And last night a buddy of mine said he might be able to get me on the Country Club at Brookline. |

I played 1 hole on Seminole with just a 9 iron and snuck onto it through the condo next door to the north (which coincidentally is called Greenbrier).
Played Brookline in 1989 and the week after played Inverness club in Toledo. I also was in attendance at the CC in 99 to hear the"putt heard round the world" on 17. |

My brother had his wedding that week and my dad's friend, who is an Exec with Boston gas got me the tix. I was over at 18 when Leonard hit the putt though. It was very cool because I got to play there 10 years prior. |
