Always looking for more distance and more hip turn. Wish there was a way to turn back the clock and stop eating double cheeseburgers.

Use the double cheeseburgers to your advantage. Fart just before impact. For an extra boost, try baked beans.

Actually, I think your second sentence contradicts the first.

Awww I know it's all about eating right and staying in shape! There is never a simple fix to anything. I'll just keep going out there and hacking at the ball and hope it goes further than 200yds with the driver. Keep trying to hit my irons clean. No Chunks! No Tops! No Scalds!

I'm bigger and stronger than most of the guys I play golf with. But I'm hitting a good 40yds less than them. It's got to all be in my lack oh hip rotation.

Do any of you feel that lessons really help? Or do they just add to things you think about while your trying to hit the ball?

Taking a lesson from someone better than you can't hurt. $90 for an hour is a bit steep for me. But my range offers group lessons for adults for $20 for an hour. I'm sure that the pro could identify a problem area in your swing and give you some drills or thoughts as to how to fix it. Then work on it on your own time.
