Watching one or two horrific rounds is every "Tiger hater's" dream. However what we are witnessing presently is downright torture and you have to wonder if perhaps this is the end of a glorious career. I enjoy watching others perform better then Tiger in winning tournaments but even a cynic as myself would not wish this on him.

Like him or hate him he has been very good for golf and there is zero doubt that the over saturation of Tiger is not his fault, but the fault of companies and networks trying to make more money off his talent. Tiger profited from it, but it's hard to blame him as who would turn down hundreds of millions of dollars.

As for his behavior it is not different than Ben Hogan's salty attitude or even Bobby Jones who swore and threw clubs in anger. His womanizing also has been and will remain prevalent for the rich and famous.

The combo of all of these things either enriched your attitude toward him or helped sour it. The over saturation much like Jordan leaves a void when they get older or retire. And now the PGA needs to replenish and diversify their stars and they still do a poor job in promoting the youth and talent on tour. They should start a show that tells the story of the Spieths, McIroys, Loves, Mickelsons, and Woods. Tell the story of their youth and what they ad to overcome. Imagine a 30 for 30 like Golf Channel event. How great would that show be and how great for golf?

This is actually a very good point and one that makes me reconsider my rooting agenda. I will say that golf is much more fun to watch, even if I'll watch it anyway, when Tiger's in contention. A case like Y.E Yang beating him at the PGA is really what I like the most. It makes things very dramatic up until the end. It is sad in some ways to see someone as good as he has been in the past play this bad. Because I think it's his own fault and he's brought this on himself through constant swing changes, my heart isn't pouring out sympathy, but even I kind of want him to get out of this.
