Has anyone tried or used their golf shoes? We are going to start stocking them in our Pro Shop. The Rep came by while I was out of town earlier this week and my boss was really impressed with their shoes. I have not been able to try them yet but he is sending us each a pair to wear.

I have two friends that wear them and they swear they will never use another pair of golf shoes. They both have said they are the most comfortable golf shoe they have worn. Personally I don't like the look, but I am a traditionalist and own 10+ pairs of wingtips and I wear trousers even this time a year on the course in Florida. Trousers? Really? Did you wear the matching "Moisture wicking" Newsboy Cap? Preferred hat...a Kangol worn straight rather than backward...so yes. I also own knickers but haven't worn them in at least 4 years. Look your best play your best...the same reason I wear a suit to work everyday. Your logic is sound and argument is strong..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OCZdd.. There is another way to look at it...if you are going to play bad...look good doing it. There are very few occasions I can think of that looking sharp wouldn't be the better choice. Not saying people should wear pants...I just happen to prefer them.

I kind of like the Tours and Protos. I had a pair of the T3 Tours in black and white couple years ago. Very comfortable and stable at first but they broke down pretty quickly. They are very soft and after 15-20 rounds I didn't feel stable in them any longer and gave them away. They also look a little goofy with shorts. Kind of like clown shoes because the toe box is round and wide. Haven't tried any of the newer styles. |
