Watching Big Break last night I was happy to see Brain go, I just can not pull for anyone that acts like he did. He is not as good as he thinks he is. I think the rest of the guys have a fair game and the show should be fun from here to the end. Just Glad to see that bad sport go home for no other reason.

I don't have a problem with someone throwing a club, as long as it does not damage the course or anyone around.

I don't throw clubs personally, but I play with some guys that have been known to let them fly. Everytime it happens I nearly fall over laughing...its just cracks me up for some reason.

There have been many a hot head on the professional ranks that have thrown clubs, but few people know that the Patron Saint of Amateur Golf...Bobby Jones was a club thrower in his youth (in his 20's).

He was once quoted about why he threw clubs:

"Some emotions cannot be endured with a golf club in your hands."

It's funny how differently we feel about club throwing depending on if we're the club thrower or the spectator.

I've been a club thrower, and I always want to tell everybody, hey, just look the other way, let me take care of this problem over here by myself, and everything really is all right ... but most people get upset over seeing someone getting so upset, and having watched other players throw clubs, I get that feeling.

There's no doubt that the guy who thinks he should be shooting 65 and is leaving a trail of clubs in his wake and he shoots another 95 ... that gets old. At some point, you'd think a player throwing multiple clubs a round would become ashamed.

I won' t play with club throwers. They affect the other players because we have to constantly worry that they will throw the club in our direction. I have had a guy throw his club repeatedly during a round and it was no fun at all. But the final straw was when he threw the club in so much anger that he didn't realize he threw it at us, the other players. We had to duck and dive as the club literally flew end over end over our heads. He did have the decency to leave at that point.

His problem was that he lacked club throwing etiquette. First rule of club throwing...throw in the direction of the hole! This serves two purposes. #1 your fellow players should be beside you or behind you. #2 It saves time...you can pick up the club as you move down the fairway.

Yes, always throw the club forward. And never do a Smails and send it into the restaurant balcony. There's people trying to eat up there ...
