I cracked the face of my Adams Bull 5000 9.5 degree stiff shafted driver today. Looks like I will be going shopping. I play on hitting several to know which ones work best for me but I would love to hear your thoughts on the 2012 and 2011 drivers.....

I recommend finding someone who can fit you with the correct driver. I went to Golfsmith about 3 or 4 years ago and spent 2 hours with an very knowledgeable staffer (no longer there) who evaluated my swing mechanics, swing speed, preferences (teeing it low, hitting driver off the deck, etc.), launch angle, etc. and matched me to a driver head (size, loft, weighting), shaft (how stiff, flex point), and grip. I spent an hour at each PGA Superstore location I went to. The biggest challenge for me was finding a driver that I was not launching at an 18 or 19 degree launch angle. I have no issue getting the ball up. I have an old (Really Old) school TM "Pittsburgh Persimmon" driver I can get off the deck with no issue. Once I got to 4 clubs I hit almost identical, I could choose based on price. I am willing to sacrifice 1-2 yards to save $130 - $300 on a driver..... |

Really love the ping i15 8* The G20 and G15 were in the final running for me... Buddy of mine has the G20, it doesn't look as sharp as my i15 lol but I've heard nothing but good reviews from those that play it. |

I hit the G20 8.5 with the factory Tour stiff shaft yesterday. It is the only driver that i have hit lately that even comes close to being as long as my Superfast Tp with a Whiteboard73 shaft.
