I have been driving the ball further this year than ever before. Most rounds I am hitting at least 3 or 4 300+ yard drives. Additionally, within my recorded rounds (which is most of them) I am hitting 85% FIR. I have found myself becoming more accurate the further I drive the ball. I think there must be a correlation here. Any golf swing experts care to comment on that?

BTW, I have been working on swinging faster through impact this year with the driver (this was my goal this year). I have always held back a little thinking I would be more accurate if I only swung at 85% or so. Now I'm trying to accelerate at impact and I am getting 20+yards more distance and better accuracy.

I live and die by what Matt Every said. There aren't any feel players hardly anymore, and everyone of them rush to a swing coach asap, because they don't know how to fix it themselves. Everything i hit, with the exception of a 4-iron, is pretty good. It's just the driver and nothing else.

Good. And Bubba Watson needed a coach, read all these books on how to swing a golf club too to win the Masters. Many on tour do not have swing coaches. Make your own tweaks and adjustments and you won't need that coach, or guy giving you all the technical info to revert back to next time you are in a slump or making mistakes. You will have your own feel and understanding.
