#1 Any player who tries to dig their ball out of the hole with their putter, thus destroying the edge of the hole, before their playing partners have holed out shall be forced to work on the greens keeping crew and re-cut the cups every morning for a week.

#2 Any player who fails to put the flag "completely" back in the hole upon leaving the green so that the flag isn't leaning against the edge of the hole, shall be forced to buy the group behind him/her a round of drinks. This rule will also apply to those who can't put a flag back without taking a chunk out of holes' edge.

WOW!!! Great rules... something should be done for those who don't replace their divots or repair their ptch marks also.

I'm seeing the flag thing a lot lately. It's too bad you 4 putted, but put it back in correctly. Come to think of it, maybe it looks straight to them. Explains the bad putting!

We just teed off a par 5 this weekend and the flag fell over from the group ahead not putting it back in so we played rest of the hole to center of green lol. #4 - any player who misses their putt and slams the putter head into the green leaving a mark shall have to go around to all greens and repair all marks on greens the rest of the day.

Whoa now! When I'm by myself I will play more than 1 ball as I am practicing. I don't see what the problem is with this AS LONG AS YOU ARE WAITING on the group in front of you. It doesn't matter if I play 1 ball or 10 balls if I am waiting on the group in front of me I am not harming anyone else. I left my former golf club a year ago over this exact argument I had with a marshall that kept following me around and bothering me. "Why are playing more than one ball?", Why the hell not I said. Either go tell them in front of me to let me play through or leave me alone. I wasn't harming anyone. I wasn't hitting into them. I was just passing the time while I waited.
