Golf has got me depressed. So I go to the driving range today and start hitting these long beautiful and straight drives over the fence with my new swing improvements. One after the other.(Thanks to all of you who gave tips... It worked). As Im hitting them over the range fence 240 yards away, I hear this crack. I really have no clue what it is, but I start to hear this rattle in my driver. I tip it over a few times and the sound goes away. I hit it again and I hear this hollow thunk. I look at my 2 month old driver ant I see this crack going down the bottom of the driver on the toe side. My poor FT Tour. Then to top it off as I am going to practice my putting I notice that my Callaway Rangefinder is not in its normal place and is nowhere to be found. Feels like I lost a few pieces of my heart today. No Driver and no Rangfinder. How am I going to go on? = )

320 on your driver and 250 on your 3-wood? And you come in here to tell brag about it? Man, you is weak...I hit that with my putter! J/K! You need to join the Tour that way they'll give all the drivers your want and you can crack as many as you like, oh yea you also get a caddie. No need for a rang finder. Good luck on your new improved swing! Unfortunately, I can't aim worth shit. Thats my problem and whats keeping my scores up. The dreaded slice. Im cliose to fixing it though. I think. = ) |

Had a quick fix lesson this morning with the pro and was lagging on my hip turn, they would start to turn and just quit. Fixed me up tight. Just need to make it more muscle memory than swing thought :) <sigh> |

Had a straight up posture and was swinging around with an out to in path. After I changed that I was hitting most straight with a few hooks. I just need to work on my timing now. Great tips though. once I get time Im gonna post up video. I want to hear some critiques. |

I had a similar issue with my new 3W. I bought a new Adams Speedline 3W, which I absolutely loved. The second time I had it on the course the head snapped off the shaft and went sailing down the fairway. I promptly returned to the Golf USA where I bought it, almost hysterical. They determined the break was a manufacture issue, not my golf game, and replaced it on the spot. I would suggest bringing it back to the place you bought it and see what they will do.
As far as your rangefinder goes, sorry dude. Some people just don't realize that things they find on the course aren't theirs to keep. I will keep my eyes open for it. |

Sorry to hear about your bad news
This makes this the perfect time to see if hitting shorter drives in the fairway with a 3W as opposed to driver in the woods leads to better scoring. The Golf Gods have a funny sense of humor don't they? |

I've had 3 Callaway driver do that in the last 4yrs? Don't know why? Callaway rep said he has never seen them crack where mine has. Thats terrible. Did they replace them all? I talked to a teaching professional at my course and he said that he has had the same driver and he had one crack as well. He thinks its the heat of it sitting in the car and the composite head. I haven't heard from them, so I am assuming that I will be getting a replacement. Still waiting. |
