It seems that I fixed my slice (I'm a Lefty), now I have developed a dead pull to the right. I cannot figure it out, it started on Thursday night when I went to the range all of my drives were headign straight right. I checked my alignment it seemed on line with my target area. Then on Friday night I went back again to work on my drives and forget it dead pull right. So Saturday I played with Spiko, my first drive was straight down the middle, the second one leaked left, then every drive from that point was dead right, straight, but dead right. Finally on the ninth hole I hit one straight. If you guys have any ideas or have gone thruogh this I would appreciate your comments.

so what part of the body, cause's the pull? the shoulders? the hips? the arms?

you really can't think of it in terms of what single part. it all needs to work together. at impact the hips should be open a fraction, the shoulders square to the ball and the arms straight with the hands leading the clubhead.

the best fix for that day would've been to open the clubface and stance a touch. that would've resulted in a pull cut. sometimes you gotta just play the swing you have that day :)

A PULL CUT, first time I have ever heard that term used for a shot

Pete, not seeing your swing, only 2 things can really cause a dead pull. One, a lazy backswing, not creating any body turn, all arms, on the downswing you pull across the path. 2nd, coming over the top.

I must agree with Dandy on this one. I suffer about 40% of the time a dead pull hook off the tee. I started reading this thread this morning before I left work for an afternoon round. I thought about what Dandy said about a full shoulder turn. Actually I just turned a nth more than usual. It defenitely improved my timing. Worked great. I hit 13/15 fairways! Worked wonders for me. Thank-you for the tip Dandy.
