So I am heading up to the PGA on Friday with my dad. I've never actually been to a professional tournament so I am looking for suggestions on the best way to view the action.
Out initial thoughts are to get there as early as possible (7ish) adn walk with some of the players while the crowds are building. Then, find a good vantage point to watch some action and stake a place to watch. Reasonable? Any other thoughts? All input appreciated. |

Check the official website before you go, as to what items you can and cannot bring in with you. I'm not sure about some items, like cameras and cell phones. Good to have a list of everything before you park your vehicle. Both types of chairs we are considering are approved to bring in....everything else we are set on. I see the advantages of both. The chairs would be more comfortable for extended viewing once we set up "camp." But they will also be heavier to carry. The folding seat / walking stick will be lighter, but not as comfortable for extended periods. But it would also likely help climbing around the Straits. |
