Which is your favorite grass type, and why, which ones have you played on?
I have played Bermuda, Bentgrass, and SeaShore Paspalum, I prefer the paspalum, typically fast green, and true to the line, fairways are always hard, and the rough is generous compared to bermuda. |

No one has mentioned sand greens? I have played on one hole that was a sand green. The ugliest thing on a course that I have ever seen. |

No one has mentioned sand greens? How fortunate we are to play the conditions we do. Not to mention the Equipment. Back in the day, the course that is now Elephant Rocks Golf Club in Williams, AZ had sand greens in which that added oils. They have pictures of the old course before they remodeled, and the modern era took over, in the club house. Makes you appreciate what we now have. Good pics though. |

When they go dormant, the stimp meter doesn't have a number high enough. That is the same at my course now. I love it but a lot of the people whine about it everyday. |
