Quick playing about 7 years ago and just started again in Dec. Can you say JUNKIE! I can't get enough. I play 9 holes 4 times a week before work. 18 on Sunday's. Installed a putting surface in the basement. I am so glad to see there are so many like me out there i thought i was losing my mind but this game gets into blood and you can't get it out(maybe we all need a shrink)!

Sorry guys, I guess I'm the odd man out. I love the game of golf, I really do, but I could walk away from it today and not lose any sleep over it. I used to be the same way as you Dandy and the rest of you. But I guess over time I have realized the more important things in life, the things that at the end of the day really matter. Its kinda weird, when I'm on the course, I'm focused on the game, I love the individualism of the game, the scenary, the challenge, the fellowship, but when I leave the course, its over until I go back. Believe me I've had several people tell me I'm in the wrong profession and my answer to them has always been the same, I love the game, but not that much. . I guess thats why I would be able to walk away from it if needed~~

Interesting. If I were you I wouldn't call it love but a strong like instead. Anyway I wouldn't be suprised if that's why you shoot so low. Playing golf with less insanity and thoughts about it seem to be the key to success for some people. And I'm working on that. Well, trying to work on that.

I forgot to mention in my earliest reply that when I wake up I turn the TV on to the Golf Channel before I even have breakfast or say good morning to my daughter.
