Will USHandicap calculate handicaps in accordance with the World Handicap System as adopted by the USGA? Will the new rules of handicapping be applied for this handicap service?

Yes, the new WHS rules are in effect.

Will the we notice anything different once start adding scores? a 5.2 will still be a 5.2?
Can you clarify your question please? What do you mean by "adding scores"?

I mean if I am a 5.2 handicap with the old system will I still be a 5.2 with the new WHS? I guess my question is what will we notice that's different with the new system? or we won't notice anything different. Thanks
Your handicap index should remain the same or close to the same as what it was. Only 8 of your last 20 scores are counted towards your index, which would bring it down, but the new formula elminates the .96 "adjustment for excellence", which counteracts the change to the best 8.
The calculation of course handicaps (how many shots you get on a specific course and tee) changed signiificantly though. After you apply the slope of the tee, the course rating is added and then the par is subracted. So you may see a larger change here, depending on the course and tee you play.
