Just wondering what the protocol or standard is for posting scores for handicap purposes? I tend to post every score, but also feel that limits my ability to play a round "for fun" or to practice different types of shots, etc.
What scores should you post, and which scores / rounds can you / should you just pocket? Thanks for any insights! |

If you're not posting ALL your scores then what's the point of keeping a handicap at all????
A year ago I was an 8.8 HDCP. That has balooned to 13 this year. But in the past 5 weeks I've been able to get things back under control and it's down to 12.3 at last revision. You only cheat yourself by doing so. If you play competitvely at ANY level you are also the true meaning of the word "sandbagger" if you can't honestly post all your scores AND do it without cheating. |

Every round where I kept score all 9 or 18 holes. If I'm playing so bad that I stop keeping score then I won't post it on my handicap obviously.
