Hello "Stracka" land. What's on everyone's Christmas wish list this year. I just traded my TaylorMade P770's in for a set of P790's. So I believe I'm set for this year. Maybe my wife will pick me up a new golf shirt but I already have about 25 Under Armour shirts in the closet. I hope everyone & your families have a "Blessed" Christmas Holiday~

Holy S***!!! I kid you not, my wish just came true! My buddy made a phone call and we are now playing Cypress Point and Monterey Peninsula in 2018. I am in complete awe of my buddy. He may be one of the most powerful people in Golf and yet you would never know it from meeting him. He is honestly one of the most humble likable guys you could ever meet. I have no idea how to repay this debt. Pay it forward. Hook some of us up on these trips... Tell you what...I am on the verge of having an unreal 2018 with the Projects I have projected to win. If I win 50% of them my company will likely pay for my membership at any club of my choosing. If that happens I will host a group of you guys at the club. Locally considering: Old Memorial Avila Sarabay CC in Sarasota Also considering nationally: Oakmont Merion My company to my knowledge is known for paying for high end memberships, but I don’t think they have ever paid for one out of that person’s state. I am not even sure how much I would like that...being a member at an amazing club but only going a handful of times a year. |

Prior to 2017 the best private club I played was...and I have to think on this one...Rockford CC (not counting Scottish courses). And then I make a friend and play...Pine Valley, Merion, Oakmont, Cherry Hills, Eastlake and Calusa Pines in a 5 month period. I didn’t think I could Top 2017 and I still don’t know if I will but I will have a full year to try and start with Seminole and Jupiter Hills with Cypress Point, Pasiatempo and Monterey Peninsula for sure and possibly Pebble Beach to complete that trip. I think more than anything it shows that a normal guy can get on these courses. I am not 95% certain that I will play Augusta National in the next 4 years. I know one member and I have 4 friends that have already played there. Crazy year! |
