8/4/2009 10:51:35 AM Hi! I'm just curious...why is it disrespectful to have a pic with a golf club in hand? I'm thinking it may be because it looks like the club would be promoting a particular brand. Eager to learn, Adriennedrienne |

4/30/2009 7:21:28 AM I think it depends on where youu practice, I have a large area at my home and I don't change my shirt to go hit a few balls. In Public it's different. |

1/23/2009 8:08:45 PM I agree. Collared shirts and appropriate shorts or slacks should be required. |

1/23/2009 9:41:31 AM Ya, let's not perpetuate golf as an elitist sport. Golfer's should be judged on their performance not their appearance! There's plenty of golf courses that enforce dress codes, if you don't like the muni's dress codes, you have a choice where to play. I personally like to wear a nice golf shirt and golf shorts when I play, but when I practice...t-shirt works just fine. Thx. muni's dress codes, you have a choice where to play. 1/22/2009 7:29:25 PM I can't believe what people wear has everybody all wound up. Shorts and a collared shirt is my usual attire, but I have also golfed in jeans at very nice courses and nobody ever gave me a sour look. Golf attire has no relationship to respect of the game or the course. Let the dress codes worry about this, as I'm sure you other things to worry about. If the way people dress bothers you, I wonder how you take golfing with others who may not play up to your standards either? Sorry Golf attire has no relationship to respect of the game or the course. Let the dress codes worry about this, as I'm sure you other things to worry about. 1/22/2009 5:45:11 PM I understand were you are coming from, its called old school. I will have to say this my younger friends much younger friends they can't afford the look we all want them to wear. So if they wear jeans that have been pressed I'm fine with that but if the look like they walked out of the frat house I will say someting. They do wear a shirt with a collar. They also understand playing with me is going by the rules and they do. Acting like a moorron in the cart makes me mad as a hatter!! I hate that more than the dress code. that have been pressed I'm fine with that but if the look like they walked out of the frat house I will say someting. They do wear a shirt with a collar.
