1/22/2009 8:00:52 AM I understand the cold weather can make you do strange things!! Especially, when it comes to golf!ha ha. However, speaking from experience changing lie angles and equipment when not playing is not con arc and have it in you living room to practice. You could also get the swing guide (My favorite training aid) cost about $30. Put it on an 8 iron or wedge and work on your clubface position and turn. See you are better off working on the swing or feel rather then hunting for new equipment. But at the end of the day............you getta make yourself happy! Good luck! |

However, speaking from experience changing lie angles and equipment when not playing is not conducive to good golf. Trust me! First off -3 or -4 (I am assuming flat) is a big difference and those changes in lie angles should be done when playing or hitting your best (mid season) never off season. Also, with a professional assisting or giving you direction. Secondly, I agree a 3 wood is key and I am a believer that you get 14 clubs in your bag and you should feel confident to each and everyone! If you don't then you shouldn't have it in your bag. However, again you are not playing so you shouldn't make impulse buys. Slowly research wait until the season start and you are hitting off real grass to make these types of decisions. I know its hard but I have learned from experience that changing equipment, especially lie angles and adding new weapons take getting used to and really should be done when seeing goals met. In the meantime you should be getting things like an indoor putting green or setting up a net in the basement to hit balls. I would highly reccommend the putting |

1/21/2009 9:23:17 AM If you hit a 7 iron 170 yards I would think you should be hitting that 3 wood at least 250 unless you are hitting a 16 deg 3W with 3-4 degrees strong lofts and longer than standard shafts on your irons. Good luck with your game.s. Good luck with your game. |

1/20/2009 10:29:21 AM I hope the mother grants you your wish :) As for the wife, just tell her the new 3 wood is medicinal :) It's bitter cold down here in Orlando, might have to put on a wind breaker today.... :) |
