Don't look now, but Justin Rose won again. If not for a tiny blowup at the Travelers, he could be 3 for his last 3. If you didn't know, Justin Rose recently started working with swing coach Sean Foley. I really like Foley's swing concept and he's very knowledgeable in many different fields other than golf. Some people will argue that Foley teaches Stack & Tilt, but Foley is quick to dismiss the notion. However, if you read some articles about his work with Sean O'Hair, the language is strikingly similar. But that's another subject.
I wanted to get some opinions. Remeber the run that O'Hair had last year? For the most part, he was playing better golf than anyone. Now it seems, Rosey is on that same path. The buzz is all very positive and some people think he's at least a dark horse going into the British Open (I'm American, so it's the British Open).
Both O'Hair and Rose have had early success once they started working with Foley. Do you think Rose can keep this up? Is Foley the new 'it' swing guru? Maybe it's time for Tiger to call Sean Foley. Remember Tiger and O'Hair are pretty good friends and Foley is a Nike guy.

7/12/2010 10:11:33 AM Justin Rose will tee it up with Tiger and Camillo Villegas for the first 2 rounds at the Old Course. I think we're about to see what Rose is really made of. There are some other really nice pairings for the first 2 rounds this year. |
