EAGL Terminating the GolfRewards Program

I was very disappointed to receive an email today from the GolfRewards.net operation informing me of the termination of the EAGLE Golf courses from the rewards program. I and my golfing group play (on a weekly basis) EAGLE courses throughout DFW almost exclusively BECAUSE of the EAGLE Card and the rewards points. The rewards for loyalty to the courses is one of the biggest reasons why we each have been EAGLE card holders since the program’s inception. I hope it is EAGLE’s intent to replace the GolfRewards program with a loyalty program of your own. While the annual prepaid discounted rounds are a terrific value, once they have been used, the discount for card membership alone is not sufficient to keep us playing our favorite EAGLE courses exclusively as it does today. We used to frequently play, Tangle Ridge, Bridlewood, Tour 18, Riverchase, Coyote Ridge and Grapevine as well as several others. Since the advent of the EAGLE card and the rewards program, we typically limit our rounds to Fossil Creek, Indian Creek, Plantation, Westridge and Iron Horse. If EAGLE doesn’t implement a similar type of loyalty reward program, I am certain, because of the distances that we will probably no longer play some of these courses as frequently as we do now.
