Right before I smacked what I thought was a perfect drive but found my ball in the desert. Seems the picture on the GPS was slightly off and I hit it exactly where I wanted to so I can't be upset about the shot.... Oh well, first time playing this course.

Ha ha. I had a similar experience on a course first time. Had to hit off an elevated tee and carry to the green, which I saw in the distance. Selected my club based on the scorecard and adjusting for elevation and came up way short.

Right about then I noticed another green to the left. Yep, I shot at the wrong green!
