Gary Player will probably out live us all. Gary Player was the first golf professional who won the Masters and refused to return his green jacket to the Champions Locker Room the next year. When Cliff Roberts, the man who ruled Augusta National with an iron fist, called on Player and demanded Player return his jacket. Player responded, "Mr Roberts, the jacket is in my closet back home in South Africa. If you want it so bad you have my permission to fly over there and grab it."
