I couldn't resist taking this pic! Probably Daniel's only missed fairway of the day and he and his friend Jay wind up in the middle of the "church pew" bunkers of Oakmont.

I can't say that it was a religious experience for Daniel, but there was definitely a lot of yelling out God's name on this hole (mostly in vain!!) LOL

I hit one of my best shots of my day on the approach.

A for effort but the real Oakmont would have fescue grass that goes up to your waist in that bunker

took a 7-wood trying to clear that lip on the bunker,just caught it a Bit.left me with another Bunker shot.
the 2nd time ,got out! I,LOVE this Bunker!
