11/9/2009 7:53:45 AM Love elevated par 3 t-shots. Is it just me, or do most PGA courses lack elevated par 3 t-boxes? Think about it - when was the last time you heard Johnny Miller say "I remember when I won the South California amateur on number 17, a par 3 with a 138 foot elevation"? If it existed, he'd boast about it. But they just don't have them. Maybe Pebble Beach... but that's one Par 3 and it's hardly a major drop. Tons of island greens but no cliff side bomb run... |
