M.A.J. is a great golf character. He is in my top 10 favorite players. How he hasn't won a major is bewildering to me - well, at least it would be if it weren't for Tiger...

Today in the Nedbank Challenge in South Africa, this amazing professional golfer did something we all have likely done - he whiffed on a shot.

This was enough to make most amateur golfers feel better, and he must have known that. So from the exact same position - not 3 feet off of the green, Miguel decided to whiff one more time to make sure his point was made.

This may have been crazier than TC Chen double-hitting a chip in the '85 US Open had that one not been in the final round in the US Open.

Anybody ever seen a pro completely whiff in a tournament before?

are you kidding a complete WHIFF? i dont remember the last time i did that..are you telling me he WIFFED? twice? sounds fishy? not hitting it fat or sculling it he missed the ball completley? wow.. and in this pic did he just chip one from already on the green?nd in this pic did he just chip one from already on the green?

You gotta love "the mechanic"! Maybe his whiffs had something to do with this outfit! red pants? With orange,brown and white hat? Good thing he's got that ponytail to pull it all together..LOL - Just kidding, he is fun to watch,and a great player!kidding, he is fun to watch,and a great player!
