I went to Albuquerque for my annual golfing trip and this is what I encountered at Isleta Golf Club. This is usually a great golf course although I have read that they are going downhill. They didn't warn me at all that they had sanded the greens apparently that very day. There was so much sand that it left footprints. The variation in the sand also made putting difficult. Greens were slow through the thicker portions and sped hop when the ball got to thinner areas of sand. 2-putt rule today; second putt is always good. The ball actually kicked up "rooster tails" of sand.
