It is hard to tell but that ball is about two balls deep in its pitch mark.

My school course underwent heavy flooding over the past few weeks and recently just reopened. The grounds crew did a great job but a few areas were still a bit wet though.

Took relief from this but the ground was so wet that even taking the drop resulted in a small pitch mark of its own.

Friday on hole four of the North Course my second shot looked the same. The fairway is like a sponge. Had a 50 shot to the green from my relief point and came up short as the club dug over 2 inches into the turf. No bounce, all squish.
