After we teed off on a sharp dog-leg left, we came around the corner to find 12 elk. 4 Doe, w/ babies.... we drove w/ caution, knowing that somewhere was a big ole' Bull Elk. These elk are a long way from home. You don't see them down here in the Sonoran Desert, they stay up in elevation of 4000ft.+...

Gold Canyon has them fairly often. Its Elk hunting season and these guys know golf balls will not kill them. LOL
