I would either hit a 3 wood, or lay up hitting a 6 iron towards the tallest tree in the middle of the photo. Then I would stick the wedge shot. Well, in a perfect world that's what I'd do.

unless you are deadly accurate from 235, you played the right shot, still had a shot for a bird.

Go for it, you can always "Tin Cup" it till you run out of balls if it goes in the drink. All it takes is that one that clears and nestles next to the stick to forget about what you shot on the hole!

235-240 yards is my distance with a 3-wood. Not a good play for me. I'd either layup short by about 75 yards, or pull the 3-wood but purposely hit it right of the green. It looks like there is a lot of open space to that side and the rough doesn't look like it would be a problem. With option #1 I'm at a distance where I am deadly. With option #2 if I nail it, I've got a pitch with the water out of play.

No Wind, flat lie, 2 Hybrid with a little draw to the front/ right of the green. If it doesn't draw, I'm still in good shape for a chip and putt for a birdie.

99% of the time I would not go for this. play it to 110 for my 3rd is so much better then drop 3 and hitting 4.

5 wood. Don't worry.

risk reward hole. it would depend on the mood I am in. Having a good round layup, not scoring well you might as well go for the glory
