I believe that if you are a golf purist to the beginnings of the game, than this is a must. But if you like soft, lush fairways and greens that are perfectly smooth and manicured, than you might as well stay home. This is like what you would fine in Scotland and Ireland. Weather, turf, atmosphere, everything. For me, this IS golf and I will go back as many times as my pocket can afford. But you make that choice for yourself. My experience was well worth it.

Nice view hope your not looking for your ball down there

This is one of the most beautiful parts of the country that I've been to and I have seen more than most. Hidden, in my opinion to, most of the eastern part of the US. Weather is very seasonal here with high temps only between 45 and 70 for 95% of the year. This picture was taken on Feb 3, 2011. 61 degrees and bright sunshine all day. Only saw a spritz of rain and never colder than 50 at tee time. Clubs were with the caddy at front of the tee. Very affordable in off season here. Jan-Mar especially. 3 round, 3 night packages start at around $600. Getting there is not easy though. Closest airport only has 3-4 flights per day coming in. Thanks for looking.

My dream trip, I have already informed the wife that is the present I am going to give myself for my 40th birthday. Only problem is that is still 8-1/2 years from now.
